back to blogging! i spent my september holidays at my cousins' house so i did not bring my laptop along, anyway my mum called it a 'study' stay-over, my cousin is also having her poly holiday so she is watching over me, make sure i study! but not hardcore until study whole day, i still did have fun! haha but not bad, i still got Lucky(cousins dog) to accompany me when i study! =D i miss Lucky, he is just so cute! he likes me to sayang him and likes to lick me all over! eww, wet.. =p
dad bought me a new mini laptop and for blogging its quite alright, but i can't play games as screen is too small, difficult to see coz the game doesn't fit the small screen, i have to keep scrolling up and down! my msn is not working too!! i either get the very old version or the very new version which i'm not used to. i want back my version which i've been using all along but i cant seem to download that version again? someone pls help me!
prelims still going on and today was Amaths. totally sucks. confirm i'm gonna fail anyway without getting my paper back, more or less my marks are predicted. i got the thoughts of dropping Amaths, however dad asked me to at least try my best, at least pass. well, how to pass O level Amaths when even normal sch exam i keep failing?

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY! i wanna take this opportunity to thank all the teachers who have made sacrifices and have been patiently teaching me all this while. thanks for your guidence and of course your time for staying back to give us tutorials and extra lessons. thank you for all your help!
today its teachers day, hence no school. dad was nice enough to take leave from work today and brought us out! we went to Chevrolet car showroom as bro wanted to take a look at the transformer's bumblebee car. we went to Ikea for lunch and shopped around. after that we headed to NSRCC to play bowling. i brought my new bowling ball to try out for the first time!
weeks ago coach told me that I'm ready to change to a heavier, reactive ball. we went to uncle James' shop but i only had 2 colours to choose from which i didn't like. the colours were rather limited for reactive as they usually come in dull colours and for a 11 pounds ball is rare for reactive series too, they usually come in 12 pounds and above. so i waited for another 2 weeks and finally i got my ball on Sunday. so happy! =D both my bros changed to reactive ball long time ago dad is also using a reactive ball now. i was looking for a purple ball actually but there wasn't any for reactive ball series. so i took a black ball instead, with a minor mixture of grey. I'm quite happy with it, the more i look at it, the more I'm in love with it! coach told me 'don't choose the ball because of the colour, colour is not important. the most important is the pin reaction!' i'm glad i didn't continue waiting just because i want a purple ball, black is not bad either! if not i don't have to start training already. thanks dad for taking leave and bringing us out, as well as buying me a new ball! =D
blogger is finally back to normal! i can upload pictures, videos and change the font colours now! ever since June holidays till now, blogger seems to have problem and i cant upload pictures all this. that's partly the reason why i stopped blogging for a period of time and i seldom blog nowadays. i always wanted to upload pictures but i cant! so annoying.
this are pictures of my new ball, black beauty. =) i picked pink for the thumb-hole to match my ball, and yellow for the finger-tip for more striking colour when the ball rolls down the lane. actually wanted purple, but there was only yellow and transparent for my finger size!
after a long holiday and finally back to school today! i have not been studying, Saturday, Sunday and yesterday have been going out! went to discovery centre on Saturday, Sunday went to watch GI Joe and yesterday went to watch where got ghost! thanks dad for bringing us out! =) very tired currently, i guess i didn't sleep well last night, hence today like so sleepy. had English common test today during English period. we had 50mins of comprehension and tomorrow another 50mins for summary and vocabulary. the passage was difficult and i was not in full concentration coz i was feeling sleepy so i think i will not do as well.
Mrs oon wasn't here today so phy tutorial was canceled. even bio tutorial was canceled last min as miss Ruth was on course! after school had lunch and i followed the Gladys, Cheryl and Clarissa for their chem tutorial! haha coz i was so bored if I'm gonna wait for them alone to go home together. obviously Mr nasir realised that he had a bio student in class, but he was so nice! he allowed me to stay for his lesson too! don't know what chim chem things he is talking about but anyway i didn't disturb his class, just sat there and do maths.
but Clarissa! you're sick man! haha i think you're in love with me! haha kidding =p we were in the chem lab and u know those lab chairs? the tall tall ones and with a hole in the centre? you know what she did? she actually put her fingers through the chair and poked my butt! she shocked me! we have been playing the poking and pinching game these few days. haha fun and abit sick actually. she and Cheryl kept pinching my butt! but i got my revenge today and Clarissa you watch out tomorrow! she smack my b_ _ _ s before i got down the bus! haha gosh
back to blogging today after about 1 week+. seems like blogger haven't got back to its normal state. Cheryl lee was like telling me the other day that blogger can upload pictures and is like back to normal but today when i log in, its not! still messed up but i'm still able to blog actually its only that i can't really see the top part when I'm blogging coz the words are overlapping!
anyway today's English tutorial is canceled! ms yang had to go for a last min oral briefing. so went home straight. so bored now, like no mood to study at home so i was playing games on facebook. haha.. tomorrow is going to be national day celebration in school and commendation day. but sadly many of my classmates are not coming! Clarissa, Amanda, Gladys, hafizah, shaliza, Joana, Elizabeth, enru! wah u all good lor, pangseh me.. =( thankfully i still have Cheryl lim, thanusha, amirah and i don't know if Joycelyn and shuyi is coming. i don't wanna be the only girl or only soul in class!
most of my friend's parents allow them to be absent from school for no valid reason but my parents will never ever allow that! anyway i like coming to school! haha so I'm definitely coming tomorrow! i really hope to see you guys tomorrow! please come okay? its not lame and boring, its just a celebration in school annually!
oh yes, i've been choosen to go to the commendation day thingy to clap for prize winners and yet gladys didn't wanna receive her prize tomorrow! silly girl! ask you not to be shy and yet you didn't even go for rehearsal! please go receive your prize tomorrow can? don't think so much, its just receiving your certificate for your guzheng. silly girl..
back from long day of school. it was raining heavily on the way back home, waited very long for bus too. my shoes are drenched! gosh! crazy tutorial schedule has began. today is only day 1 man! and yet maths tutorial lasted until 5pm! damn tired and my throat is super duper painful. i have been coughing like hell, my cough medicine has finished last night and yet my cough is not getting any better. this sucks! anybody got any ways to cure coughing or phlegm? if u do, tell me pls! thanks alot! =)
oh guess what?! gladys messaged me in the morning and told me that she is not coming to school today as she got slight fever. poor girl, i think i spread virus to her. i'm so sorry gladys! fortunately, she is better now, and she is coming to school tomorrow! take care girl! see you tomorrow then! i need to take my worksheets from her. was absent from school on friday for the first time in loyang history! i have never been absent from school before or late since sec 1 till now. haha unbelievable!
just woke up from long long sleep today so decided to use computer. feeling better currently. i was having fever this morning during the first temperature check and was brought downstairs to be sent home. i felt a bit sick yesterday but i didn't realise that i was having fever, quite serious. my temperature keep going higher and higher. i started with sore throat a few days ago followed by some phlegm, flu and cough yesterday. last night felt a little tired and sick too. but today running a fever.
i measured in class the first time was 37.7, outside the general office was 37.9, when i went to the doctor was 38.0 and when i came home was 38.3. i called dad to come and fetch me home but he got no time to bring me to the doctor so mum brought me to the doctor. i was given a mask to wear in school and i wore it while walking to the clinic. there was this lady, upon seeing me wearing mask, look sick, she quickly walk off the pavement, giving me the 'tsk! get away from me' look.
i was actually quite worried, scared i'm H1N1 positive, but she doesn't have to do that right? so extreme. i mean, i'm already wearing a mask, what more do you want? did i ask for it too? anyway i did a lab test at the clinic and it proves that i'm H1N1 negative! what a relief..
i was just given 2 days MC with alot of other medcines to finish up. i get to rest till sunday and monday i will be back to school. gosh, i think i'm gonna miss out alot in school work, got to catch up alot. alright, i think i'm feeling drowsy after eating medicine so i'm going back to sleep. thanks friends for your concern. =)
had O level MT oral today! gosh, it was a total screw up! although many said that the passage was easy, but i had problems reading it! i was stuck and i didn't read smoothly.. worse, i actually said ERMMalot of times and i said THEN!! OMG! how can i use English?! its Chinese oral! during the conversation part, i can't really think much ideas, so quickly shoot something out to talk. die! oh well, glad its over but i hope i don't have to retake! anyway all the best to the rest who haven't took their oral! =D
term 3 has started! going to school for another few more months before sitting for O levels. this is fast! I'm sure holidays, many of us have not been studying. I'm guilty of that too. I'm glad that school reopens, so we can tune ourselves back to study mood rather than still daydreaming in our holiday mood. first day back to school after a long month break. feeling so tired! I'm currently trying to upload the pictures taken with Cheryl lee but blogger seems to have problem uploading pictures now!! what good timing! oh yes, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAIRUL! =D
today morning went out to meet Cheryl lee, we went to tampines mall first. went to cotton on to shop and then century square to shop for Cheryl's bikini as i promised her and we managed to get it today! like finally, sorry Cheryl if i had owed u for too long! and i tried one on for Cheryl to see. for your sake okCheryl! haha whatever you saw, shhh! shopped around then went for lunch at yoshinoya. Cheryl treated me! thanks Cheryl! =D after lunch, Cheryl came over to my house and were we supposed to do something for ______ but we end up taking photos and using laptop. but we still did a little, i hope to complete it by tomorrow. today was fun! Cheryl and i had some talks and taking photo was super funny! Cheryl haven't send me the photos yet, when she does i shall upload! we took like 70+ photos in total today! omg!
this morning, went to school again for maths tutorial. morning i felt alright but during Mr koh's lesson, suddenly my stomach felt more and more painful, i was having menstrual cramps. the pain was unbearable until my head started spinning and i vomited. i felt so weak and i almost fainted, my vision was blurred and i could hardly see my surroundings. enru helped me around, brought me to the general office and i was asked to go back home.
i bumped into ms nashitah outside the general office and she helped me to lie down and rest at the sick bay and brought me some warm water. called my dad but he couldn't pick me up so he asked his colleague to fetch me home instead. currently feeling better. thanks to those who showed concern towards me. =) thanks to: enru for helping me around when i could hardly see, miss nashitah for helping me and bringing me some warm water, Mr ridzuan for offering to send me home and uncle lubin for sending me home. this is the first time that this happened in secondary school, i remembered it happened only once in primary school but it wasn't that serious. usually it happens at home. last month it was so painful until i had to cancel my flute lesson. i don't know what is happening to me, this year almost every month i have menstrual cramps. in the past it never occurs so often.
finally a long week of science tutorial has ended. next week will be the only rest week! although its the school holidays, we have been going back to school for extra lessons everyday. today's physics tutorial was cool! we had lessons as per normal, but not everybody turned up, only half the class. after that the boys was complaining that they are hungry and suggested to eat MacDonald's!
then Mrs oon was like saying, ' ok la, hungry right? lets go white sands to eat MacDonald's!' we thought she was joking at first, and she even suggested to treat us breakfast/lunch. but after that she was packing up her things and said, ' hey lets go! why all of you still sitting here?' Mrs oon is so cute today, the way she talks and jokes damn funny! so all of us went to white sands, went to MacDonald's, but there wasn't enough seats, so we went to burger king instead. Mrs oon bought everyone of us a set meal. eat and chatted.. THANK YOU MRS OON!
went to bowling lesson at night! like finally, last week missed it because of COL so i had to cancel my lesson. anyway today's lesson was great! the best so far! coach was happy with my performance and he went 'wow!' luven also changed his ball to reactive ball already. so fast! both my bros have already changed their balls to reactive, left me. however coach said that i will change soon, to heavier ball, as he thinks that 9 pounds is too light for me and i tend to force my swing as the ball is light. alright i better go off to sleep now, bye!
went to school early in the morning for my O level MT paper today. i didn't really have the feeling that it was O level paper today! i felt that it was just like any other exams until when time was drawing nearer and we went to the hall, i started to panic. the paper was ok overall but i didn't have enough time to finish my paper 2. just scribbled some words on the last 2 questions, better than leave it blank.
paper 1 was tricky! the informal letter writing was a difficult question, i didn't totally understand the topic but somehow i managed to guess and i was right! wanted to do the formal letter writing but i wasn't sure of the format! gosh.. i have never done any formal letter writing in any exams so i didn't want to take the risk too. scary! but anyway O level MT is over, hope i do not have to retake!
these 2 weeks we have been having intensive MT lessons and mock exams! oh well, O level MT is like exactly 1 week from now! gosh, time really flies. in like for 4 months from now, I'm sitting for the rest of the papers for O levels. but i don't think that everybody is well prepared. the midyear results shows it all. I'm prepared to get hell from parents when i show them my report book.. sucks!
miss Gwen just gave our class a wake up call today, talked sense but I'm sure many of us are guilty of not studying hard enough. daydream during lessons and happily talking the time away during lessons. its quite true, if we can't even pass or score well for midyear papers, what more, O levels?! I've been thinking through what should i do to have done better and hopefully not make those careless mistakes in the midyear paper for O levels. well, i guess everybody should start doing what they are supposed to do. now, immediately! before everything is too late when the result slip is out, we can't change anything.
had geography and POA paper 2 today. geography was as i expected, was difficult and i just kept writing non-stop. hopefully what i wrote make sense. POA was a total screw up!! i can't balance all balance sheets and forgot the format for some accounts! i think I'm gonna fail. yesterday's physics paper 2 was horribly done too! i forgot how to do all the questions and i just scribbled nonsense down.. oh well, that's the result of last minute studying! hope that tomorrow bio paper will be fine. as for E-maths, just hope I'll pass? all my results have been dropping. oh no! there goes my midyear result slip..
today is labour day thus there is no school. but super duper nice miss Ruth sacrificed her public holiday and gave us bio tutorial at T2 today! we were supposed to be at T3 but it seemed so noisy and crowded so we went to T2 Starbucks instead. Allyson, Muhammad, syafinah, sharifah and i turned up. miss Ruth treated all of us drinks and cake.. but the most touching was she was so willing to give us extra tutorial the entire day! THANK YOU MISS RUTH!
dad drove bros and i to school early in the morning and he flew off to china for business trip again. had interview after school. a few MOE representatives came down to hold an interview today, to find out more about our school. we were divided into different groups. i was in the music room group interview. Mrong, the MOE representative who interviewed us, was very nice and friendly, funny as well! we had several stupid jokes and all of us were laughing even though we were very nervous. went for bio tutorial after interview and went to meet dearest Cheryl thereafter to get Clarissa's bag since she wanted so much. home sweet home!
finally got my laptop back last night! it broke down for a period of time and i have been rather busy so i did not blog. too much things lately. but thankfully i can stop going for CCA already, graduated from netball! i will definitely miss all my juniors and those fun games during trainings.
time really flies, tomorrow will be the first paper for mid-year exam already.. gosh, so fast! I'm not prepared for exams and both E & A-maths are seriously driving me crazy! I'm struggling with both maths and the worst is i forgot all my sec3 topics that i studied very hard for last year! i got to re-learn and re-study. can somebody help me please?! =p

they poured ice water on me and Brendon! started with Brendon first. the ice water was so cold until i had brain freeze for a moment, seriously. coz they poured the water on my head. anyway, thanks guys for the fun! once in a year only.. eat, played and talked until 10+, then Lawrence, kangyu and junfei walked with me to ehub to look for my dad, he was still eating with his colleagues so we went to bowling alley instead to watch people play. we saw serene and Stefanie! so coincidence! thanks boys for accompanying me.. yesterday was the first time i stayed out so late! but mum scolded me for waiting for my dad until so late.

i haven't been blogging for the past 1 week, had been so busy with common test. i had test everyday. different subjects and on certain days, i had 3 tests on the same day! stressed up!! especially A-maths! can really die. last year, i find that A-maths is so much easier than E-maths. but this year, i totally don't understand the topics and i'm struggling with the formulae. next week gonna have more common test papers. oh no.. went for bowling lesson at night at NSRCC. today my ball was having a bigger hook! coach was happy for me. =D
today was the annual road race, held at bedok reservoir this year. didn't run, helped out for SC instead. congrats to all those who had won medals, those who didn't, don't be too disheartened or upset about it, you've tried your best anyway. =) after the event, we stayed back for SC meeting. the results for the next executive committee members are out! the next president is Anne! she will be taking over the current president Joana. Jolene, vice-president 1, taking over me. arun will be vice-president 2, taking over hafifah! congrats to the 3 of you! hope you all work well together! =D

Luven got his wrist guard today. coach said he enjoyed today's lesson very much as we are all doing very well. yay! but i think that Lucas is gonna thrash me real hard one day, he is improving alot. coach says, naturally guys will have more strength and more ball speed. oh well, dad is travelling again. after he send us home from bowling, he went to the airport. he is flying to china for business trip. he says he will be travelling alot this year.
no hot dates for me today, don't think i was having one. haha.. just had a normal saturday routine for today even though it is Valentine's day. had flute lesson in the evening with my flute teacher. went to play bowling with dad and bros in the night at NSRCC. played 4 games as usual then we went home.
I've not been blogging, my blog is rotting! i did not have time to to blog, had been so busy. usually, school days i got no time, but i'll try to blog when i'm free. but i love Fridays! coz i get to go home at 12.30pm. firstly, i would like to thank those who prepared gifts for me. thank you very much. i feel so bad, i didn't really prepare anything for you guys, just a small token. and there wasn't enough! I'll give the rest on Monday. i'm sorry about that!
had PE today. we were actually looking forward to play games. but mdm lim said that still got people fail so all of us will do 2.4km, only those who passed, can run at comfortable speed but still must complete 3 rounds. she wanted us to train for road race next week. haha. i got 5 points for my 2.4km last week, so happy! =p so i motivated the rest to run. they passed and improved their timing. happy for them too.
went for bowling lesson at NSRCC in the night. coach bought me a wrist guard. the one last week didn't suit me, was uncomfortable and i can't hold the ball properly. so today he gave me another one. coz he didn't want me to bowl with 'broken wrist'. he said that my wrist tend to bend backwards when i was swinging the ball, this made my ball less powerful. somemore i'm a girl, less strength compared to the boys. my younger bro didn't need one, only my youngest bro, as he got direction problem. haha. but coach was really nice, he bought for me and Luven, but he didn't claim any amount of money from us. Luven is going to get his only next week, as coach need to change his wrist guard size. thank you coach! =D
met up with pri school band mates then we took a bus to Mr aw, our conductor's house at punggol for Chinese new year gathering. we played wii in Mr aw's house and some gambled. but of course i didn't, and i can't, parents will kill me man. Mr aw has alot of wii games! Ernest and i even team up for bowling game and we won!! so cool! haha.. and Ernest can dance para-para very well. he won everybody! then Mr aw drove all of us to Mr goh, our another conductor house for visiting. Mr aw actually made 2 trips just to drive all of us there. thanks! =D dad picked me up at Mrgoh's house and whole family went to e-hub for dinner then we watched inkheart! very nice movie! finally get to watch it today!! you guys should watch this movie too! went home thereafter.
went to white sands to meet my pri school friends and my teacher, ms tang for lunch. ms tang treat us lunch. 11 of is came! so long never see all of them already, glad to see them today! after lunch, we went to e-hub, walked around and decided to play bowling since there is nothing else to do. played 3 games then the rest went to pasirris park while i waited for my dad to come and pick me for bowling at NSRCC. while waiting for dad, i saw Jason at bowling alley so he asked me to join him. i didn't play, so just sit there, watch and talk to him. coz he also not playing, just watching his friends play.
went to NSRCC as soon as dad comes, for bowling with bros. played another 4 games then went home for dinner. after dinner, quickly rushed to dad's colleague house. for Chinese new year visiting. so sad, didn't get to play with baby, coz he was sleeping. just sat there eat, drink and chat. quickly chase dad home at 11.30pm, if not i bet we will be staying there even later!
today was the Chinese new year celebration in school. apparently, we had lessons until 11.30am before the celebration starts. but all of us practically had no mood to really study, some was absent from school. we had E-maths test today but miss Gwen decided not to count the test as she realised that most of us didn't study and obviously almost everybody will fail the test.
after the Chinese new year celebration in the hall is over, i went to e-hub with daddy king(Mr heng), Sarah, Aaron and teckwoon for lunch. we went there first and waited for huiyi, arisa and Fiona for lunch at pastamania. we waited for 2pm before we place our orders because we wanted 30% student discount. Mr heng also wanted to have the discount so he asked Aaron to order his share together. haha. we played tai-di while waiting. played bowling at e-hub with the same people who went for lunch but after the first round, more people came.. all of us played 2 games in total, Mr heng treat! thank you!! but i lost to daddy king! didn't play well just now. don't know what happened, maybe because i'm not using my ball, not used to it. and i wore uniform to play, so obstructive! daddy king, next time lets challenge again! this time you win me, next time i will win you! haha =p
went to NSRCC in the night for bowling lesson. i took very long to 'warm up' before coach finally said, 'Luanne you're back!!' the 'warm up' basically means that i wasn't playing very well and not like what i usually play, coach will only say 'Luanne you're back!!' when he thinks that i'm performing like the way he thinks i'm capable of. after lesson, i played 5 games with my bros while waiting for my dad to come and pick us home. i got new high score again! my highest was 141 for today. i got turkey(triple strike in a row)! coach treat us drinks again, thank you coach! i think today i played a total of about 12 games or more! gosh! my fingers are aching now..
collected my NYAA certificate and badge this morning during morning assembly. so embarrassing, walk and bow. make me look so stupid.. had physics test today. almost the whole class was cheating during test! put the notes under table, copy from friend. i think Mr hao knows, but he didn't want to say anything. but i didn't cheat okay. so honest! haha.. so lucky, today's POA test was post-pone to tomorrow as today Mr Kennedy wanted to focus on the new topic. anyway went home immediately after the last period, didn't go for A-maths test, i told miss Gwen that i'll be doing tomorrow with some others who can't make it today as i was not feeling well. ever since morning when i was brushing my teeth, i felt like vomiting. and i can feel a sour feeling in my stomach. i think i got gastric flu again. i don't know why i always get gastric flu, horrible! Chinese new year is coming and yet i'm falling ill. i really want to recover before Chinese new year comes. or else, i can't enjoy, everybody will be playing, and me, lying in bed, resting. oh no! i don't want that to happen! i was feeling better in the afternoon after a nap, but now i feel like vomiting again.. but i'm definitely going to school tomorrow, please bless me!! =D

today school was as usual. stayed back after school for the NYAA rehearsal for tomorrow. we are going to get our certificates tomorrow morning, after flag-raising. we even had a formal SC photo taking this afternoon! so cool.. but its a pity that i don't have the pictures with me now, its all in the school camera and i don't know when we will be able to get it, or maybe we will never get it. depends..
i have been really busy these few days. so stress! apparently we got so many tests! i think we will be having tests every week! omg!! today i was supposed to have a-maths test but i was not able to make it today because of the rehearsal and photo taking so i have to take my test tomorrow instead. which means, i will be having A-maths, POA and physics test tomorrow! gosh.. and Mr how, a relief teacher taking over Mrs oon as she is away for weeks he is so nice la! he actually gave me 1-1 tutorial today after my rehearsal and photo-taking. i actually missed lessons when i was away for the sec1 orientation camp so he wanted to give me extra tutorial to catch up on what i missed. he went home after school and came back later at about 3+ just to have extra lesson with me. so touched!! i mean, he is just a relief teacher and he don't get paid for coming back to school for extra tutorial but he is so willing to give us that extra time of his. i felt so bad that last Friday i didn't turn up for his tutorial as i had netball. thankyou so much Mr how for your time and effort, i really appreciate it. =D
oh yes, we had SC meeting for ex-cos yesterday and we were told that the names of the committee were changed. the people still remains but the names of the position changed. except for president and vice-president, the name still remains. the new names are ok, but i think that 'council whip' somehow sounds weird! haha
